Heartland took in seven kittens from two feral mama kitties in Lincoln County in June of this year.  The family that called for help spayed the mama kitties and continues to care for them to this day.  The kittens were about eight weeks old and completely feral and needed a bit of time and love to come around.  Several have been adopted and these two remain waiting for their forever homes.  Both are still a bit shy and skittish, but tame and docile and playful and very attractive indeed.  Toad is the light gray boy and he loves brushing, canned food, treats, toys, and wrestling with his brother.  Rogue is the brown tabby and he also loves the same things.  Rogue does love to sit on my lap soaking up a good brushing and scratching session, but I have to put him there; he will not get on my lap on his own no matter how I flirt with him.  Rogue also loves to lick my knees while I brush him, kind of weird if you ask me; I just go with it!  Toad loves his attention in the kitty tree or in the sink; he is not comfortable in my lap.  Toad was the shy one of the bunch when they came in as wee kitties but I would say both boys are still a bit on the shy side.   Both need a kitty friend, a quiet home, a patient owner, and space to run and play and wrestle and be a kitty.  Both boys are neutered, up to date on all shots, micro chipped, treated for parasites, and negative for FIV and FeLV.  Toad is Heartland #7866CL and Rogue is Heartland #7861CL
