Thank You's
On July 30, 2004, Elsberry Methodist Church Bible School Group presented a check for $149.14 that they raised for Heartland Humane Society.

Thank you so much! We appreciate all of your time and effort to help the dogs and cats at Heartland!

A big thanks to Dr. Marcy Hammerle and the staff at Animal Docs in O'fallon for all they do.
Mr. Bill Canney, a business executive of metropolitan Detroit, was challenged to race down a snow covered hill on a inner tube in his business suit and top coat during the Detroit Winterblast Carnival.  Mr. Canney won the challenge and designated his winnings of $500 be donated to Heartland.
Thank you so much, Bill!  All of the animals that your donation will help, are grateful that your heart is still in your home state of Missouri."
"Bill Canney, Heartland's good friend from Detroit,  has again risk life and limb to benefit Heartland Humane Society.     Bill celebrated his 50th birthday by  taking his first skydiving experience.  As incentive for Bill to complete his jump, thirty of his friends and colleagues made  donations to Bill's favorite charity.   Bill said 'I can think of no better birthday gift..than knowing that these funds will assist ... in caring for abused and neglected animals' and we agree!   Thank you to Bill and all his friends for their donation of $1,000.00."

Joanna turned 5 years old and instead of getting presents, she had people bring donations for Heartland!  It was a dog-themed party and she got lots of dog toys, old towels, and some dog food, collars and leashes.  Joanna was very excited to be giving presents to foster dogs.

Donating to Heartland was inspired by our dog Gidget.  We adopted her from you in March 2005, and she is the very best, sweetest dog who is much loved.  We are so thankful to you for rescuing her.
