This kitty was adopted out as a wee kitten and returned to Heartland with an ugly eye infection.  As you can see one eye is now completely missing!  It honestly looks better completely gone than it did when Landon was suffering with a bad eye.  He lived with a doggie at his adoptive home and has grudgingly adapted to living with kitties in his foster home.  Once surgery was complete and Landon was completely healed I started the slow motion introduction process, within one week I had him out and about with other kitties but made sure he had his safe zone to go back to if stressed.  He seems just fine with kittens but large cats do stress him out a bit.  Some minor hissing is all that he does to show his stress or fear; then either they move away or he does.

Landon would fly to the moon for canned fish food and it is very amusing when the kittens steal his bowl out from under him.  Little paw reaching over and pulling the bowl to their mouths, I have to monitor the food situation because he lets the wee ones steal the food and he sits quietly and pouts.  So I play guard and once he is finished and walks away the babies can eat his food and then finish up theirs too!  He does get spooked a bit easy being blind on one side, but is adjusting pretty well.  Landon was born in October of 2009 and would be four years old now.  He is a beautiful medium haired buff kitty on white and he does love brushing.  Landon is Heartland #6804CL.  He is neutered, up to date on all shots, treated for parasites, negative for FIV and FeLV, micro chipped, and ready for adoption!
