This regal and handsome fellow is Hugo.  He is a stunning medium-haired kitty with beautiful green eyes and a fluffy tail.  He and his brother were rescued from a local animal control shelter just days before they were to be euthanized.  They were picked up by animal control as strays so the shelter did not have much background on them.  It was initially thought that both boys were too shy to adopt out, but after bringing them to foster care, we realized they were just frightened at the shelter.  It didn’t take long to discover that they are total love bugs.  Within a day of being at their foster mom’s house, they really started to come out of their shell and blossom.  Hugo’s brother has since been adopted and now he is patiently waiting for his turn.  He is very laid-back and loves affection and brushing. 

He meows at you when he wants attention and happily purrs and kneads his paws as soon as you pet him.  He enjoys lying on your lap for snuggle time and will give you gentle nose nuzzles to let you know how much he appreciates you.  Hugo LOVES catnip toys and goes nuts over his favorite one, a catnip stuffed banana.  He acclimates pretty quickly to new environments and gets along very well with other kitties after a proper introduction.  Kids should be just fine and Hugo may even do okay with a cat-friendly dog once he has had time to adjust.  Hugo has been neutered, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, is current on vaccinations and microchipped – DOB 11/10/12, tag # 9295JB
