Dog Of The Month

Shawn – is a male Shepard mix, DOB 8/25/07  and weighs approx. 60 lbs.  Shawn is a friendly boy, loving to be petted or by your side.  Shawn loves to take walks and walks very well with his foster mom when she takes him for walks with her 10 month old son in the stroller.  He walks right along by her side, never pulling or trying to rush ahead, and every once in a while leaning over to give her son a gentle kiss as if to say thanks for walking with me. He is always a gentleman, very quiet in his crate and will readily go in when you tell him to "kennel". Shawn does like to play ball but doesnt always want to bring it back to you. He will sit on command and take a treat gently from you. He is a very happy dog and will give you a great big smile to show you!  Shawn can be a little picky with other canine companions so it would be best to introduce him to your current pet if you are interested in giving him a home. Shawn is crate-trained and ready to find a new home where he can be your best friend. Tag#5948HHS
