Daisy is a beautiful orange and gray tabby. One of our volunteers found a litter of kittens by Troy.  I took them when they were about 6 weeks old.  The whole litter was wonderful, and I ended up adopting Lilly, Daisy's sister, myself. Daisy's a sweet cat, but she's shy and needs a quiet home that is willing to spend a little extra time to gain her trust.  She wants to be petted, but is hesitant, but once you do start petting her, she leans into your hand and rubs on you.  Deli ham is a good motivator, but she's not quick enough to take the handout before one of the other fosters grabs it first.  At one point when I had my bedroom free of cats, I took Daisy in with me for several nights.  She was so friendly and laid next to me and cuddled.  I was amazed.  But once she was out in the house, she was all shy again.  It wouldn't take much at all to turn Daisy into an affectionate lap cat, but there's just too much going on at my house for some quiet one-on-one with this very sweet cat.  She gets along with all the other fosters and my large dog, but some of the cats tend to pick on her because she's an easy target.  She really needs a quiet home that can give her all the love she deserves.  DOB:  9-14-09.   Daisy  #6793
